Home Forward Promotes Kitty Miller to Chief Administrative Officer

Kitty Miller, LCSW, joined the Home Forward team in 2010 as our Organizational Development Manager. She quickly advanced to the role of Assistant Director and then Director of Community Services, where she fortified the department’s operational infrastructure while deepening strategic partnerships in the community. Under her leadership, we built stronger connections to the health, mental health, workforce, domestic violence and education systems in Multnomah County.

In her new role as Chief Administrative Officer, Kitty brings her strengths and experience in organizational development, service delivery and systems alignment to the next level, as inter-jurisdictional collaborations move even further to the forefront of our agenda. Among other things, Kitty will guide our emerging commitment to expand supportive housing in our community over the next 10 years, while she oversees our business lines of Community Services, Human Resources, Contracts and Procurement, as well as key policy staff.

“I want to challenge the organization to increase access to resources and opportunities that residents find meaningful while offering Home Forward’s passionate workforce the tools, knowledge, and training they need to address the challenges that face our community. This work is hard and we cannot do it alone, so I look forward to collaborating with our partners and funders, residents and participants, and people like you to move towards a brighter and more equitable future,” says Miller.
