I have a Section 8 voucher —who is my case manager?

You can find out who your case manager is by calling (503) 802-8333, option 4.

If I don’t have a Section 8 voucher, how can I get help now?
  • Search or browse Home Forward’s affordable apartment communities.
  • You may be able to find short-term help by calling 2-1-1 (from a cell phone, dial 503-222-5555) and asking them to refer you to an agency that best meets your needs.
When will you open your Section 8 waiting list?

Home Forward opened its Section 8 waiting list for applications in September 2016.  We estimate it will be at least three years before we are able to reopen the list.

Where am I on the waiting list?

If you applied during our Section 8 waiting list opening in September 2016, you received a letter from Home Forward in early 2017 letting you know whether or not you were randomly selected for the waiting list.  If you were, your letter gave you your position on the list.  You can get updates by calling (503) 802-8333, choosing option 3, and following the automated prompts.
