GOALS Program
The GOALS (Greater Opportunities to Advance, Learn and Succeed) program provides Home Forward participants with ways to set and reach their goal of becoming self sufficient through five years of dynamic supportive services. The GOALS program has helped many families with job training and referrals, getting a better job or promotion, child care referrals or even owning a home. This program offers a solid pathway for financial independence and self-sufficiency and features creative ways to help participants save money to achieve their long-term goals.

Portland YouthBuilders
Portland YouthBuilders is a program where low income youth aged 17-24 are paid to finish school, learn a trade, and plan for their future. Students attend PYB every weekday, alternating between academic studies and vocational training in either green construction or a computer technology program. All students receive career development skills, leadership development opportunities, and long term support. All students earn a stipend during this year-long program and there is no charge for tuition. Portland YouthBuilders is an Oregon Green School and is a member of the US Green Building Council and the Cascadia Green Building Council.
