How do I apply for a position at Home Forward?

Home Forward only accepts applications online through the application page of website, with very few exceptions. Please remember to write down your username and password once you have set up an account. You will use the exact same username and password every time you check the status of your application or apply for another position.

How will I know if I am being considered for a job?

Home Forward’s Human Resources staff will send you an email notification once the recruitment and selection process is complete. If you haven’t received an email notification, then we haven’t completed the review process and a final decision has not yet been made. If you are selected to proceed in the recruitment process, additional information may be requested at that time.

What if I don’t have a computer or internet access?

There are a number of ways to access Home Forward’s online application system:

  • A computer is available in the first floor lobby of the Home Forward main office at 135 SW Ash St., Portland, OR 97204. Our office is open Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • You may also use Home Forward computers at our Hollywood East location: 1605 NE 45th Ave, Portland, OR 97213.
  • Multnomah County Public Libraries have public computers that you can use to access our website. Visit http://www.multcolib.org/ to see a listing of library branches and their hours.

Who do I contact if I have problems with my application?

If you are having problems logging in to your account or have forgotten your password, click on the “I Forgot My Username and/or Password” link below the login button. The system will send you an e-mail with your login information. If you don’t receive the e-mail, be sure to check your spam/junk mail folders and add info@governmentjobs.com and info@neogov.com to your “safe sender” e-mail list. If you still do not receive the email, then contact NEOGOV Customer Support toll free at 1-888-NEOGOV1, and follow the prompts for applicant assistance.
